Est. 2008

Firstly i would like to welcome you to Excalibur Unit's official Website.
Excalibur Unit Was established in 2008.
Founded by a group of friends Ex-Serving and civilians, Des Read, Joseph O' Malley, Wendy Read, Alex Hopkinson and Georgina Hopkinson.

Our message is plain and simple.

It's all about our guys, not just any ordinary guys; these are extraordinary guys, our Heroes. Our Heroes from the past, present, and our Heroes of the future. We was a strictly non profitable, non political and a non critical charity. We did not discriminate between those wounded in action past or present, male, female, race or service.
Mental ill-health affects ex-Service men and women of all ages, We're a vital lifeline for these men and women, and their families.
The charity has helping over 50 charities and organisations and many individuals all over the u.k

By your donations we helped, and supported those brave military guys that have laid down their lives for our country, freedom, and safe protection.

Excalibur Unit / Supporting Our Heroes are proud of our Heroes and believe they deserve the best the life has to offer after their tour of duty.

Its unfortunate that so many of our armed forces return to the UK with no prospectsof work.

We aimed to provide practical, emotional and financial support to all members of the British Armed Forces past and present, and their families.
We aimed to improve their lives and safeguard the Military Covenant between the nation and its Armed Forces.

Whether it's families coping with the loss of a loved one, help at home to adapt to independent living, recovery centres for injured personnel, careers advice or residential care: we where here to help.

Mental ill-health affects ex-Service men and women of all ages, We're a vital lifeline for these men and women, and their families.

The charity has helped over 50 charities and organisations and many individuals all over the u.k

No trustee at any time received any payment of money or other material benefits whatsoever for their services.

Every penny raised by the Trustees and supporters goes to the running of the charity, its various events and endeavours, and the care of servicemen and women, who are disabled, elderly, infirm, impoverished or otherwise in need of charitable assistance.

The charity aimed to help with supporting the many returning soldiers from war torn countries who have witnessed horrific scenes in the course of their duties. We also aimed to help with aftercare services for military personnel and their families. We aimed to help with grants and Donations to other military organisations and individuals, with helping fund for memorials, and help with giving those desperately needy of our help today, reclaiming their lives ,trying to get back into civvie life. We would also like to help with our forces future. Grants or donations to our young military cadet forces..

Please take a look at our WHO WE HELP PAGE.

Unlike a Lot Of Charities And The Goverment, One Of our most important aims was to support our many forgotten Heroes, not just from our present conflict's,but as far back to world war 2.
Many of these Heroes are long forgotten and thier are over 70,000 homeless veteran's on our streets in the uk at present, this is were Excalibur Unit / Supporting Our Heroes comes in, with our dedicated team of fundraisers and your support, we made a DIFFERENCE.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank personally to all those that have helped and donated to Excalibur Unit / Supporting Our Heroes In The Past,

Warm Regards
